From September 21 to September 24, an exchange programme took place at our school. On Wednesday 21 our school welcomed 20 students and two teachers from the Italian school Liceo Europeo Bambini Gesu from Fermo. When welcomed by our headmaster, students could see our school and then were taken to their host families.
On Thursday our guests were invited to the city hall where they met the mayor of the city who answered lots of questions asked by the Italian students. Then our students showed the Klasterec château. In the afternoon all the students went to Kadan where they had a chance to see this beautiful king city.
On Friday our guests were shown a spa city Karlovy Vary which was thanks to beautiful weather really nice. On Saturday morning we had to say goodbye to the Italian guests. On their way back they could not miss the capital city Prague where they stayed till Sunday.
In such a short time, however, our students made friends with the Italian students and they are looking forward to meeting them in April when we plan to visit Fermo.
We would like to thank all the Czech host families for their hospitality.
