The third workshop of this school year took place in a beautiful city Fermo. Again, our partnership schools colleagues and students took part.
Nineteen students that are part of the exchange programme from September went to Italy, too and we joined two events together. A part of this programme was also trip to Rome and Florence.
The topic of the workshop was obviously music. We had a chance to see the city Fermo, its subterranean water reservoir, a beautiful theatre and city library. We visited historical town Offido and its museum of bone laces.
One of the main topics was a discussion on the final design of the postcard, a product of this school year. The best designs were chosen and a text was discussed. Another point was the layout of the book, which is done every year. And finally, we planned the last workshop in Klášterec nad Ohří in May.
The flashpoint of the meeting was obviously the presentations of each school. The Germans presented their exhibition of history of German music. Icelanders showed us computer music. Italians presented their film about a music composer Casa di Rossini. Our students presented a film of Jan Šťastný who filmed students at music lessons singing some of our folk songs. We enjoyed the stay in Italy very much, we liked the hospitality and we are looking forward to May meeting.
