Within EU program Socrates, our school has joined a three-year project with an international participation.
The topic of the project ROOTS will be included into thematic plans of particular subjects of Czech, English and German languages, history, civics, arts and IT.
Another three schools work on this project. In this year each of the schools has worked independently and has collected, sorted out and elaborated facts in group work. We will deal with Czech fairy tales and legends generally, however we will be especially interested in the regional legends and we will try to find out about their origins and history. We would like to visit castles, chateaus and historical centers of our country which will help us to work on the project. We would like to show the unique particles of our history on the particular examples.
After the separate work of the schools we will discuss and analyse the given subject. Our goal is to find similarities and differences in these countries.
