The second workshop took place in Geithein in the week of March 9-11 2005. Our school was represented by students Michaela Mlejnková, Petr Messner, Dagmar Radová and Eva Jílková and teachers Mrs Liesbet Cvrčková and Mrs árka Vajdečková. They aslo met our Icalandic colleagues there.
On the arrival, Czech students were accomodated in German families. The afternoon programme was a tour of countryside, which was recultivated recently, and a visit to a cloister in Wechselburg.
Next day all the group went to sightseeing Saxon city Leipzig. We were travelling by train and we had to admit, travelling in Germany is much better than in the Czech Republic. All day was sunny and we could see lots of historical sightseeings- a beautiful building of the station, Nikolaikirche, Thomaskirche, Alte Rathaus, Augustusplatz, university etc. In the afternoon Italian students and teachers came to Geithein to spent there couple of days on exchange stay. Our students had the opportunity to meet old friends and spend some time with them.
On Friday morning we visited lessons of math, German, literature, Russian and music. Before lunch we went to a theatre hall to see a performance of German students. After lunch, several German students showed some sports activities: cycle-ball, sports fishing, dance. Then they were playing volleyball but unfortunately we had to go home.
